 We entered a competition to win planting resources and we won!!! We are all planting different vegetables like peas, beetroot, salad leaves, spinach and radishes. We are taking care to make sure our plants have enough sunlight and water. We are also learning about healthy food and the food pyramid. We can't wait to eat our yummy and healthy veggies.

 We are learning all about positional language in maths. We read the book Rosie's Walk and then mapped out the hen's journey.

 In science we were learning all about materials and their properties. We thought about the suitability of materials used by The 3 Little Pigs to build their houses.

 In March the weather can be very mixed. There is a belief that if March begins like a lion it will end like a lamb. Conversely, if March begins like a lamb it will end like a lion. In 2021, the weather on 1st March was just like a lamb - calm and beautiful!! 

 In art, we made lovely Easter Bunnies. We are looking forward to our Easter holidays and to eating lots of chocolate eggs!!

 We celebrated World Book Day on March 4th by dressing up as our favourite character from a book that we love.
